William Perkin’s GCSE results have improved even further on the already exceptional progress which has become characteristic of the school over the past 3 years – achieving well over the national benchmarks at every level with even more students hitting the very high academic targets which the school has set for them.
| Grades 9-7 | Grades 9-5 | Grades 9-4 | |
| William Perkin | 48% | 81% | 91% |
| National | 22% | 52% | 67% |
6 students at the school achieved the exceptional feat of achieving eight or more grade 9s, including Mimmie Klinsrisuk who achieved 11 grade 9s & one grade 8 and Anna Mrabian who achieved 10 grade 9s.
Headteacher, Amy Newman commented: "I am extremely proud of the Year 11 students and delighted that William Perkin has continued to support students to do their very best across all subjects including the traditional EBAC and STEM subjects in which we specialise, and also a wide range of creative and practical options such as Music, Art and PE. It has enabled our students to access a wider range of courses post-16. I would pay particular tribute to our staff team who have made this a possibility".
